Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What types of animals will you not care for? Mindy will not care for pets that have been brought to the country of the United States illegally or without proper documentation. Mindy will not care for reptiles or amphibians.​

 

Do my pets need to be vaccinated? Yes! All cats and dog must have proof of rabies vaccination on record and readily available during pet-sitting.

 

What if my pet has fleas? Mindy will not care for animals with fleas or other communicable diseases. If fleas or other such parasites are found, I reserve the right to drop the job immediately and payment will not be refunded.  It will be the client's responsibility to return home or find alternate care in this circumstance.

Are your rates set? Rates are base and subject to change depending on location, types of animals or care requested by the client.

 

When is payment due? Payment is due at the day of care, prior to the start of the visit.

 

Can I get a refund if I come home early? If for any reason the end-date must be changed (moved up) due to the client, no compensation will be made. 

 

What if I get delayed on my return? I will do my best to help in a pinch! But if for any reason the end-date must be changed (pushed back) due to the client, there is no guarantee that Mindy will be able to continue care for your pets.  If care does continue past the schedule end date, payment for those services will be due within 30 days of return.
